Just Because

We were trying to get a picture of how he finally has enough hair to actually brush it. But he got the brush. And I have to post it just because he's so cute!

(Oh, and here's the hair. And the drool dripping off his chin!)

(And he's naked again. We really do dress him most of the time! This was right after a bath. Sigh.)

has been on repeat play around my house for the last week! Wouldn't it ROCK to be in a group that sang that for a talent show or something?!

"We Pray Thee"

At the risk of sounding sacrilegious...

Has anyone else heard the phrase "we pray thee" used in prayers? Or is it just an Iowa thing? For example, someone will say a prayer that includes, "We pray thee that the Spirit will be here", "We pray thee for those who couldn't come to be able to come next week," or will just plain end with "We pray thee in the name of Jesus Christ, amen."

I was brought up hearing "we ASK Thee" rather than "we PRAY Thee," so it strikes me as odd every time I hear it. Am I just weird? Does anyone else hear this in their ward?

Stealth Videos

Okay, so they aren't really stealth. But they show how my kid likes to grab things!

Mike loves to play with Aidan and the camera, mainly because Aidan likes to grab it.

This video was supposed to see if we could capture Aidan's raspberries (his favorite noise lately), but instead it showed him stealing the rag. Watch carefully at the end - it's a very smooth steal! :) And then his face after he gets it - HA! So triumphant!

And okay, this video has nothing to do with stealth OR grabbing. But it shows how well Aidan can crawl now!

Anyone Else Find This Funny?

We got this in the mail the other day. Does anyone else find it as hilarious as I did? We obviously know who sold their mailing list since we bought ONE pair of maternity pants from Motherhood Maternity about 18 months ago!
