Bathroom woes...

(No, this is not a post about potty training!)

About a month ago, Mike looked up and noticed that our kitchen ceiling had a water ring. We called our landlord (that's the best part about renting!!!) and had him come look at it. It was a leak from the upstairs toilet. Our landlord replaced some ring or other, but still needs to do more. He said he would come back to finish the job and replace the bathroom vinyl at the same time. In the meantime, Mike decided it's not a good idea to use our upstairs bathroom. We thought it would be for a day or two. It's been a MONTH, and still no estimated date in sight! (That's the worst part about renting - you can't bug a landlord like you can bug a husband! :)

So just in case you aren't familiar with our house, that means that we're left with only this!

Notice the complete lack of counter space and room in general that both of us now get to share!

Sigh. At least we have indoor plumbing!!!

Well yeah; consider yourselves lucky. WE have to poop in the street. You can't flush the gutter.

I haven't seen your house (do a picture tour like SJ did on his blog!!), but that sure seems like a not-so-fun experience in that bathroom.
