First Fruit

I've thought about starting a garden the last few years, but we don't really have space at our little rental place here (plus I'm not sure our landlord would even let us). However, for a mutual activity at the beginning of the summer, we learned a little bit about gardening and planted our own tomatoes from seed. I have kept them on the porch all summer, and I am proud to say my hard work has come to fruition - literally! My very first grape tomato ripened this week!

Now I just have to wait for the regular-sized tomatoes to ripen! This is the best part about gardening!
